About Me
Hey there! I'm Qlj, one of many Animal Jam players. Here on the Internet, I commonly go by the nicknames Dark or Darku, but if you wanna call me Qlj I'm definitely cool with that as well! People have started also calling me Q and I think that sounds pretty cute too. Heck, call me whatever ya want as long as it isn't offensive!!
I've been playing AJ since 2011, but I quit around early 2017 and only recently returned to the game. I've gone through four usernames since I joined the game; I started as msmambo11 in 2011, had my username changed to DarkBunneh in early 2012, switched accounts to BubbleKittens789 in late 2012, and made Qlj my new main account around late 2014. Ever since then, I've been Qlj. :) Inspired by once-popular AJ blogs such as Animal Jam Flash and the Animal Jam Spirit Blog, I used to run a (pretty obscure) blog called Animal Jam Waters from early 2012-early 2014. Out of nostalgia, I've decided to start blogging about Animal Jam once again, so in that respect I suppose you could consider Jamaa Jaunts to be Animal Jam Waters 3.0.
In terms of my life outside of AJ and other interests, I enjoy writing and roleplaying! In fact, I hope to become an actual author someday, but I know that isn't going to pay the bills so I intend to pursue a career related to biology or journalism. Not entirely sure which and the clock's really ticking, but whatever. I'll just keep playing Animal Jam and doing other stuff to avoid the pressure of finding a viable career lol. I also enjoy drawing, although I'm not a super good artist or anything. It's more of just a fun hobby for me. I'm a lesbian (yeah maybe i rub that fact in people's faces too much oops) and campaign for LGBT rights whenever and wherever possible. I'm also looking to start an organization/group dedicated to making elderly LGBT folks feel safe, welcomed, and less alone, but it hasn't come into fruition yet. I'm also a HUGE cat lover and will probably become that one crazy cat lady that every neighbourhood has in the future. Whoops.
So... yeah! That's pretty much all there is to me. Toodles, folks!
