okay this is the lamest thing to be excited about but that ain't gonna stop me So out of seemingly nowhere, random people kept appearing in my den, but usually only one-at-a-time. naturally, i was kinda weirded out because who are you people At first I thought that maybe someone had mentioned my username somewhere or something. Hey again, Jammers! Today's Rare Item Monday is the Rare Paperclip Earrings! They can be found on the twelfth page of the Jam Mart Clothing shop and they cost 925 gems. Gotta say, I can really get behind the colour scheme. It's colourful, but not in a clashy or neon way. In fact, I'd probably make an outfit with these if it weren't for one tiny little thing- You can barely see 'em when your animal is wearing them! From a glance, my bunny just looks like she's completely bald! I tried to put them on my completely uncustomized Arctic wolf with similar results: You can see the earrings more clearly, but they're still extremely tiny and also look sort of strange. I mean, the earrings on the left side literally look like they're hovering in mid-air . 'Sup, folks! Last night I came across yet another hacker! These guys really are coming out of the woodwork all of a sudden. His username is ajcatnoir and this is his playercard: Basically, much like Zyvexedpyro (the hacker that I previously encountered), he was changing colours. However, he seemed to be able to do the colour-changing hack and remain one solid colour without using mud. Below are some screenshots of him -- it's worth noting that all the people around him who are solid green aren't also hacking, but rather are doing the Haunted Mansion slime glitch. In fact, the whole reason why I even found out that he was a hacker was because a solid-green eagle was sitting in Jamaa Township and people were asking why she was green. I think I've got an update on the hacker dude, and I'd like to thank Wikia user Midnightmoonlight1 for bringing it to my attention via a post on the AJ Item Worth Wiki (ye i've been using it a fair bit lately to find out what my items can go for and stuff). So, as it turns out, he's got a YouTube channel and found some unreleased headdresses that he's planning on giving away. Here's a screenshot of all of the headdresses from his video: Potentially the most interesting thing about 'em is that they're nonmember items! A few of them seem pretty similar to in-game member headdresses, except that they have dark grey bands. okayyy i guess i have something interesting to add to this blog. hooray i guess I encountered a game hacker today! This has gotta be the first time I've seen one in the wild in literal years lmao. They weren't doing any overly malicious stuff, just randomly changing colours haha. They were listed as "New Jammer", so I didn't get to find out their username. Here's their playercard, though. He first appeared on the bridge in Jamaa Township that leads to Appondale and started casually changing a myriad of different colours there: I have more pics, but you get the gist of it. People were debating whether it was a glitch or an actual hack, but it was later determined (by the hacker's own admission) to be a hack. After a couple minutes, they ran into Appondale and I followed them. They ran into the muddy area, danced, got muddy, and started changing colours again . So I guess they have to use mud/lava/etc to do the hack idk. ...

Hey, people! It's Dark (AKA Qlj/BubbleKittens789 [and formerly DarkBunneh] on Animal Jam) and while I've basically grown out of Animal Jam and previously quit for over 2 years, I randomly came back to AJ for the nostalgia. To say the least, I kinda like AJ again oof. I don't know -- if you get past the ever-present "RARES RARES RARES" mindset that has overtaken the site as well as the scamming that sometimes goes on, it's still a pretty nice game (Except for the weird chat filters. AJ, please fix that). I mean, yeah, maybe I'm a little old for it, but I'm pretty sure the majority of people that play AJ nowadays are older than AJHQ's actual target audience anyways.
