??? i guess i kinda like aj again??

Hey, people! It's Dark (AKA Qlj/BubbleKittens789 [and formerly DarkBunneh] on Animal Jam) and while I've basically grown out of Animal Jam and previously quit for over 2 years, I randomly came back to AJ for the nostalgia. To say the least, I kinda like AJ again oof. I don't know -- if you get past the ever-present "RARES RARES RARES" mindset that has overtaken the site as well as the scamming that sometimes goes on, it's still a pretty nice game (Except for the weird chat filters. AJ, please fix that). I mean, yeah, maybe I'm a little old for it, but I'm pretty sure the majority of people that play AJ nowadays are older than AJHQ's actual target audience anyways.

I know Animal Jam blogs are no longer popular and haven't been a popular medium for talking about AJ for literal years, but I figured I'd start a new one. Why? To be honest, even I'm not sure yet lmao. This definitely won't be a blog focused on daily AJ updates and new items, because I've got other responsibilities nowadays and going through the trouble of finding new items in stores every day and posting about them is tedious and super repetitive for me lolol. I'll probably only focus on that kind of thing if the update is something super major or notable. This is likely gonna serve as a blog for memories, ranting, stories, and recording fun events! :) Back between 2011 and 2012, when I was a kiddo and blogging about AJ was still popular, I hardcore idolized people like Wando20/Pangaea, Mayksufi/LoveLost, BeautifulBlackWolf, and Snowyclaw. Through their blogs, they established nice communities and definitely brought a lot of people from Animal Jam together, and little-kid-me LIVED FOR THAT. (i know that sounds like the cheesiest, wishy-washiest thing you've ever heard,,, but bear with me ok) I guess I kinda want to do the same thing with this blog -- create a sense of community by blogging about my own experiences on the site and inviting people to share theirs. <3 I really feel like fun, silly Animal Jam stories that don't have to do with rares or other mainstream things don't get talked about enough.

So... yeah! Just gonna be casually blogging about random Animal Jam-related stuff on here and if anyone somehow happens to be reading this, I invite you to share yours with this blog! <3

hello it's me and i know this is kinda late but eh I'm no longer suspended and today happens to be a Monday, so it's time for me to post about today's Rare Item Monday: the Rare Paperclip Bracelet. Fall Updates

'Sup! I haven't been posting a to lately but that's mostly because I've been sick and it's tough to find time to play AJ at times due to my constant flow of assignments and homework. Anyways, AJ came out with a new update and it's fall in Jamaa Township now! yeah this is like 2 days late but here's my commentary anyways I've always found the fall layout of Jamaa Township really gorgeous. The pumpkin beside the billboard looks kinda new, since the style of it looks more like something out of an adventure or newer AJ room, but for all I know it could've been like that even before I quit and I just never noticed it. Episode 2 of "Qlj Finds Hackers"

'Sup, folks! Last night I came across yet another hacker! These guys really are coming out of the woodwork all of a sudden. His username is ajcatnoir and this is his playercard: Basically, much like Zyvexedpyro (the hacker that I previously encountered), he was changing colours. However, he seemed to be able to do the colour-changing hack and remain one solid colour without using mud. Below are some screenshots of him -- it's worth noting that all the people around him who are solid green aren't also hacking, but rather are doing the Haunted Mansion slime glitch. In fact, the whole reason why I even found out that he was a hacker was because a solid-green eagle was sitting in Jamaa Township and people were asking why she was green.
